Our school is the only school in Firozabad, UP, to provide FREE English medium education to its students. Serving the educational needs of the weakest sections of society, we are fortunate to have the support of EduGirls, USA. Together, through Digital and English medium education, we are preparing our students to become financially independent in the future.
At DD, our aim is to create Leaders for the Future. And for this purpose our Teachers are intensively trained to deliver Social Emotional Learning alongside the Academic curriculum. For we believe that personal development is an integral part of education and should be taught from the earliest.
We also believe that education should be taught in a fun learning environment. Most of our students do Bangle work at home and look after multiple younger siblings. School for them is a getaway from these mundane household tasks. Therefore, we encourage learning with activities and games.
RICKSHAW RUN- Fund raising campaign
In September 2025, we established Dau Dayal English-medium school in Firozabad (UP), India — the only one offering free, high-quality education to girls from some of India’s poorest communities.
Already, over 400 girls are learning with us, and the demand keeps growing. Every day, parents and children line up, hoping for a place — but due to lack of space, we’ve had to turn many away. It breaks our hearts to say no to girls who simply want to learn.
The Solution
We have land, foundations and walls ready. All we need now is your support to complete construction of a new school building — a place where every girl can study, dream, and thrive.
Our Fundraising Challenge
To raise awareness and funds, three friends Mani, Shabbir and I embarked on a 3,000 km auto-rickshaw ride — from Kochi to Jaisalmer.
No air conditioning. No power steering. No comfort. Just three determined souls driving across India’s rough roads and bustling towns to raise awareness and funds for our girls’ school.
We completed our Rickshaw Run in Jaisalmer on 15th January 2026, and managed to raise 25% of our building costs. We are now looking for partners to help us with the remaining costs. So that the school building is completed.
Our aim is to provide free English medium education to as many girls as we possibly can and no one is turned away!
